Infused with a mixture of trap sounds & experimental idealistic waves that boast a fresh approach and sound, Florida artist Vinny Virgo is definitely not confined to a certain box or genre.

Aside from being claimed as one of the Best 50 musicians in Tampa FL and also winning Best Hip Hop Artist two years in a row in his hometown paper called The TBT, his first single "Wanting You" was featured on MTV RapFix Live "Get In The Game" segment with Sway Calloway and Talib Kweli. Since his appearance on MTV, Vinny has had placements on College Radio Station's all over the U.S. and in European markets. Vinny's music and sound has allowed for him to open for the Smokers Club Tour, A$AP Rocky, Joe Budden, The Underachievers, Caskey, Tory Lanez & Currensy to name a few, while also traveling to do solo shows in Ohio, Georgia, Texas (SXSW Festival ), Atlanta (A3C Festival) and Nevada.

Vinny has been dropping consistent records recently, one being “Fast Car” which premiered on Elevator Mag as well as the eerie bass-heavy banger, “House On the Hill” which premiered on Noisey’s Beats1 channel in October and since then has also been heard on REVOLT TV’s “The Gate” as well as their website. The singles will be followed by music videos in the coming months leading up to the release of his next project which will be completely self-produced.

Vincent Allen Edwards Jr. was born in Tampa, Florida (currently residing in Los Angeles, CA) with an ear for music at a young age. His interest in music began after spitting his poetry to beats, which lead to a group of friends he met in high school who were known for making music. “I rapped for them one night at a party and it was a wrap from there. We started a group the next week and that’s what kicked off my journey.”

In 2012 Vinny created and released his first Mixtape "Me, Myself and High: The Intro" that led to national buzz through DatPiff and dozens of highly acclaimed blogs in the U.S. and Europe. Since his first solo release Vinny has released two more albums (Me, Myself & High: Bethlehem (2013) & Me, Myself & High: Lotus(2014) that have both garnished Worldwide placements on respected outlets such as including Pigeons and Planes.
